Rack Status Monitor
ACS Rack Status Monitor is a totally solid-state unit that mounts on any Opti rack and displays the rack airflow in CFM. With no moving parts, it has no spinning impellers that can wear out bearings or fly apart. Installation is a simple matter of mounting the quick-disconnect sending unit in line with one of the exhaust hoses, hanging the display unit at the top of the rack, connecting the USB cable between them, and turning on the unit. Like the racks themselves, the RSM needs no external supply of electricity. Its six AA-sized lithium batteries provide power for many months of 24/7 rack monitoring without replacement.
